I'm not Superman (Scrubs Series)

I'M NOT SUPERMAN (Scrubs series)
by Lazlo Bane

Out the door just in time
Head down the 405
Gotta meet the new boss by eight am

The phone rings in the car
The wife is working hard
She's running late tonight again

Well, I know what I've been told
You've got to work to feed the soul
But I can't do this all on my own
No, I know
I'm no Superman
I'm no Superman

And you've got your love online
And you think you're doing fine
But you're just pluged into the wall

And that deck of Tarot cards
Won't get you very far
There ain't no hand to break your fall

Well, I know what I've been told
You've got to know just when to fold
But I can't do this all on my own
No, I know
I'm no Superman
I'm no Superman
(that's right)

You've crossed the finish line
Won the race but lost your mind
Was it worth it, after all

I need you here with me
Cause love is all we need
Just take a hold of the hand that breaks the fall

Well I know what I've been told
You've to break free to break the mold
But I can't do this all on my own
No, I can't do this all on my own
I know, that I'm no
Superman
I'm no Superman
I'm no Superman

Someday we'll be together
I'm no Superman
Someday
Someday we'll be together
Someday
I'm no Superman

Coldplay: Clocks

CLOCKS, by Coldplay

The lights go out and I can't be saved
Tides that I tried to swim against
have brought me down upon my knees,
Oh I beg, I beg and plead, singing

Come out of the things unsaid.
Shoot an apple off my head and a
trouble that can't be named.
A tiger's waiting to be tamed, singing.

You are, you are

confusion that never stops.
closing walls and ticking clocks
gonna come back and take you home.
I could not stop that you now know singing.

Come out upon my seas
cursed missed opportunities.
Am I a part of the cure?
Or am I part of the disease? singing

You are, you are...
You are, you are...
You are, you are...

And nothing else compares,
and nothing else compares,
and nothing else compares.

Home, home, where I wanted to go
Home, home, where I wanted to go
Home, home, where I wanted to go
Home, home, where I wanted to go

Oh brother, by Andrea Corr

OH BROTHER, By Andrea Corr

Clouds roll over a fading dream,
And I'm standing with you
Half- awake, I wanna crawl back into
The wind and the rain
Blow into a church and remember myself
Now I'm not far away
Sometimes I know we will need to leave
Just to find out where we begin
Oh Brother, show me the way to go home
No one can cure me like you do
Brother, take me to where I belong
No one believes me like you do
There's no me without you, a floating leaf
I wanna land, spin down to your arms
The cold air that you breathe
Kiss the rain where the sky is confused with the ground
Oh Brother, show me the way to go home
No one can cure me like you do
Brother, take me where I belong
No one believes me like you do
Oh Brother, show me the way to go home
No one can cure me like you do
Brother, take me to where I belong
No one believes me like you do
We all deserve a second chance
And God knows, I know, and so do you
Wake up with the pain that you hunger again
And I'm empty and longing for you
Oh Brother, show me the way to go home
No one can cure you like I do
Brother, take me to where I belong
No one believes you like I do
Oh Brother, show me the way to go home
No one can cure you like I do
Brother, take me to where I belong
Nobody needs you like I do

Marlon Roudette: New Age

If love was a world, I don't understand.
The simplest sound, with four letters.
Whatever it was, I'm over it now.
With every day, it gets better.

Are you loving pain, loving the pain?
and with everyday, everyday
I try to move on.
Whatever it was,
whatever it was,
There's nothing now.
You changed.
New age.

I'm walking away, from everything I had
I need a room with new colours.
There was a time,
when I didn't mind living the life of others.

Are you loving pain, loving the pain?
and with everyday, everyday
I try to move on.
Whatever it was,
whatever it was,
There's nothing now.
You changed.
New age

So much fire that it burned my wings.
Her heat was amazing.
Now I'm dreaming of the simple things.
Old ways, erased.
If love was a word,
I don't understand.
The simplest sound,
with four letters.

Are you loving pain, loving the pain?
and with everyday, everyday
I try to move on.
Whatever it was,
whatever it was,
There's nothing now.
You changed.

FUTURE WITH WILL

FORMA Y USOS
Vamos a estudiar las formas del Futuro en inglés. Este tiempo es bastante  sencillo en inglés y no reviste ningún problema. El futuro con will en inglés equivale al futuro simple en español. Es decir,

I will play sería: Yo jugaré;
 You will eat: Tú jugarás;
He will drink: Él beberá...

No hay distinción entre verbos regulares o irregulares y es igual para todas las personas, sin distinción entre la tercera del singular y el resto.

Las oraciones afirmativas se forman con el auxiliar WILL (´LL) + VERBO. Ejemplo: I will wear a scarf/I'll wear a scarf

Las oraciones negativas se forman con el auxiliar WILL en negativo, dejando el verbo en su forma original: WILL NOT/WON'T. Ejemplo: I will not wear a scarf/I won't wear a scarf

tiempo...)

The sun will shine tomorrow = El sol brillará mañana
Peter will be 15 next Tuesday = Pedro cumplirá 15 años el próximo martes

Para hacer predicciones, suposiciones, opiniones (Puede estar acompañadas por expresiones como I THINK, I SUPPOSE...)

I think Peter will arrive at 6 o'clock = Creo que Pedro llegará a las 6
I suppose Arsenal won't win the Premier League = Supongo que el Arsenal no ganará la Premier League

Para acciones decididas de manera espontánea en el mismo momento en el que se habla:

Wait! I will help you! = ¡Espera!¡Te ayudaré!

Para hacer promesas:

I will visit you in summer = Te visitaré en verano

MOMENT OF SURRENDER (U2)

MOMENT OF SURRENDER

(By U2)

I tried myself with wire to let the horses run free
The stone was semi-precious, we were barely conscious.
We set ourselves on fire, oh God, do not deny her,
At the moment of surrender, I folded to my knees,
I've in every black hole at the altar of the star.

I was punching in the numbers at the ATM machine
At the moment of surrender, of vision over visibility
I was speeding on the subway through the stations of the cross,
At the moment of surrender of vision over visibility

playing with the fire until the fire played with me
Two souls too cool to be in the real of certainty, even on our weddig day
it's not of I believe in love, but if love believes in me
Oh, believe in me

I did not notice the passers-by and thet did no notice me.

My body's now a begging bowl.
That's begging to get back, begging to get back to my heart,
to the rythm of my soul, to the rythm of my unconsciuosness, to the rythm that yearns

to be released from control.

I could see in the reflection a face starin back at me
I did not notice the passers-by and they did no notice me
every eye looking every other way
counting down 'til the Pentecost.
I did not notice the passers-by and they did no notice me
